Happy Monday Friends! We had a pretty non-productive weekend over here, but I totally needed it. Chris and I had both seen parts of The Office, but we decided to start from the beginning and binge watch it. We also stopped by a newish brunch place in the West Loop called Chicago Waffles…where I proceeded to get pancakes, and Chris got a burger. But it was so good! Especially the waffle fries (I’m drooling just thinking about it).
I’ve been trying to up my faux leather jacket game. Have you noticed in TV shows, all the badass women are always wearing leather jackets when they’re off work? At the bar…leather jacket. Hanging out at a friend’s…leather jacket. Running errands…leather jacket. In Chicago, where the weather is either cold or unpredictable (= cold), I feel like a faux leather jacket can be a year round wardrobe staple.
I recently picked up this cream colored one. I’m wearing it right now with jeans, but I think it will look great over my spring and summer dresses. It also works for a night out.
