Hi Guys! How was your weekend?
Like I said, we didn’t really have plans this weekend. So we just hung out at home, did some cleaning, took a walk (Sunday’s weather was glorious…meaning 50 degrees), got coffee, and ran errands.
This weekend, I’m going to my friend Maya’s bridal shower. She and her fiancé live in Phoenix, Arizona, where they are completing their medical residencies (I have the smartest friends!) The shower is here in the suburbs, and I’m in charge of games. I have a couple up my sleeve, but if you have any suggestions, let me know, and I’ll add them! I’m also going to a Windy City Bloggers brunch. I love meeting other bloggers!
I’m going to wear this dress for the shower, and also for Easter. Chris and I aren’t really religious, so we don’t go to church, but we do like to go to Easter brunch. Yum!
For any event that involves a lot of eating/drinking, I need a dress that is flattering. This dress is made of a thick material – it almost feels like a thin layer of foam, so it hides bloat. The skirt is also full, which will make your waist look more tapered!
I love how pretty this print is! The chevron on the skirt adds a bold contrast to the delicate flowers! Pink and gray work so well together…my wedding colors were blush and pale gray!
