Hi Y’all, Happy Monday!
What do you have going on this week? I’m getting lunch with my friend Maya today before she heads back to Arizona (she was in town for her bridal shower). We’re going to Ramen-San, one of our three favorite ramen places (we LOVE ramen!) in the city. The other two are Kizuki and High Five Ramen. If you’re visiting from out of town, and need a recommendation on what to order, let me know!
On Wednesday, I have class after work. I’ve been contemplating whether I should take more classes at a time so I can finish my master’s degree faster. It’s taking forever…I started in in fall of 2015! Is anyone else also working on a degree part-time?
Chris gets Good Friday off from work, and I’m working from home this year because my office is doing major renovations, and we’re moving to a different floor (some people are moving to communal seating). I’m also going to the orthodontist (more on my journey later this week).
Today, I wanted to share a pretty spring dress for under $50. I’ve been showing a few winter to spring transitional outfits, here and here, since it’s still so chilly. If you live in Chicago, you know it doesn’t really get warm and stay warm until the end of May or early June.
This wrap dress is long-sleeved and can be worn with a tank or tee underneath for extra warmth or more chest-coverage. (Over the weekend, I wore it with the sleeves rolled up when I was indoors). The shade of pale mauve/lilac works really well with gray. Here, I’ve paired this dress with my gray suede over the knee boots, but I’ve also worn it with gray tights.
This dress also comes in several other prints and colors. Check it out!
Have a great day!
