Hi Friends! Happy Monday! How was your weekend?
Last week was pretty crazy over here…just more and more condo stuff to deal with. And I still don’t know where we currently stand with certain things. Grrr. Anyways, it certainly affected our weekend plans, but we still managed to have some fun.
First of all, my friend Joyce was able to catch a stand-by flight to Chicago from Miami on Saturday morning! (She works for an airline). So I got to catch up with her and hear about her new boyfriend 🙂
I also got a haircut and blowout courtesy of Bentley Hair and Beauty in the Gold Coast. They offered to refresh my balayage as well, but since I’m pregnant and wasn’t sure if it was safe, I passed. The salon opened this past spring, and everyone there is at a senior stylist level which is nice…you know you’re in good hands regardless of who you book. Mention my Instagram handle, @tiaperciballi for 10% off your services.
Also, Chris and I went to our friends Kara and Allan’s Christmas party at their house, which is always a blast. I wish I got some pictures! And today, I took a vacation day since I have quite a few left over for the year (my company doesn’t pay out or allow rollover days – use ’em or lose ’em) and did some doula interviews. Does anyone have experience with getting doula? Unfortunately, I feel even more conflicted now than I was before. The doulas I talked to strongly recommend I switch from my OB group to a midwife group, and also questioned some things like how I was scheduled for my gestational diabetes test the day I turned 24 weeks (they said to wait until 28 weeks). So I’m not really sure what to do now.
But anyhow, today I wanted to share another easy holiday outfit that I threw together using everyday items I already own. Click here for more ways to make a regular outfit more holiday-appropriate.
Here I’m wearing a green dress, topped with a black cardigan, black leggings, black waterproof suede boots, and a red crossbody bag. Don’t have a green dress? Wear a black dress, and pair it with a green or red cardigan (or scarf or belt).
My exact dress (long-sleeved)Â is available in 9 different colors, but there’s also a sleeveless version (in other colors as well), and also another version with more ruching. It also comes in plus-sizes. I’m wearing my regular size here, XS, but as you can see, my baby bump is growing! So the dress did feel a bit tight. Size up if you’re pregnant!
I’m linking to all the dresses here below! Several are currently on sale!
