Happy Friday Friends! It’s SNOWING!! What?! So time to break out a holiday-inspired look with this burgundy red velvet blazer?
I’m actually taking off work today. My office is closed on Monday for Veteran’s Day, so I thought I’d make a little 4 day weekend. No big plans on the agenda – just catching up on sleep, more decluttering, and picking out some paint colors and lights for the new condo. The newest update is that we’ll close on the original condo at the end of this month or maybe the beginning of December. And then the one we’re actually living in sometime in January. Hopefully this gives us time to sell the first condo!
Anyways, back to this burgundy red velvet blazer (here)! It’s so festive, right? It’s a great way to dress up an existing outfit with a little holiday flair. And it’s very warm. You can throw this over any top (sweater, lacy tank, turtleneck), jeans, and boots. Or even a little black dress and heels. Add a statement necklace or fun earrings, and you’re ready for a holiday party with little effort.
If you’re lucky and live in a more temperate weather climate, you could wear this velvet blazer as outerwear. Throw on this scarf, and you’re ready to go out and about.
I also love how this velvet blazer is styled in this stock photo. I would say the color is a little more burgundy in indoor/darker lighting, and more red in bright/outdoor lighting. But if burgundy/red is not your color, this velvet blazer also comes in black. (And you can always pair it with a brighter/more festive top underneath!)
