Hi Friends! And…it’s time to get back to the real world. How was your Thanksgiving?
I took the whole week of Thanksgiving off work, as well as yesterday, since my family was in town. It’s definitely rough going back to the office today after 10 days off. My office is currently undergoing some construction/remodeling, so I got booted from my giant cube that I loved, to a tiny cube/desk that I’m not thrilled about. At least I didn’t get sent to communal sitting, which a lot of my coworkers are doing now. (They don’t have permanent seating and need to put their things in a locker at the end of each day, like high school). Boo!
Last week was super busy! Despite not going into the office, I worked on Black Friday/Cyber Week posts all day – hope you guys enjoyed all the deals! And then we had an emergency plumbing problem AGAIN at our current place on Thanksgiving Day. Arggggh. I’ve been trying to keep you guys updated about our moving plans, so here’s the latest.
We having a closing date set for the first condo! Yay! But now the second condo, the one we want to move into, is delayed again. And when I stopped by yesterday to check on the progress, the guys working on it were smoking indoors. Specifically, in our master bedroom and baby room with all the windows closed. Grrrrr. They said they’d stop, but I don’t know if I believe them. Can anyone recommend a great air filtration system? I’ve heard good things about Coway, Rabbit Air, and Molekule.
Speaking of Cyber Week, a lot of retailers have extended their sales past yesterday – if you haven’t already checked out my massive list of deals – you’ll still be able to score some!
Today, I’m wearing this cowl neck sweater (here), which is currently on sale! (I’m really wearing this sweater right now as I type). It was SUPER windy when we shot these photos so my cowl neck isn’t lying flat in all my pictures. Sorry! It comes in 3 different colors, and is tunic-length. So you can throw on leggings and boots and be comfy all day. Check it out!
I’m also wearing snow boots (which have come in handy this week as there’s a good bit of snow – my parents’ flight got delayed 5+ hours last night!) and a bag that can be worn both as a shoulder bag or a backpack. I’m trying to keep my hands free when walking outside so I can catch myself if I slip on ice – don’t want to hurt Small Bean!
Hope you guys are having a good week! See you back here soon!
