Happy Hump Day Friends! Thank you to those who wished me good luck on my exam. It was pretty hard and I don’t think I did nearly as well as I wanted, but it’s OVER!
Do you guys remember that game, “Never Have I Ever?” I’m pretty sure I haven’t played since…college? High school? But my friend Christina went on a trip with other students from her MBA program and they were still playing it (late 20s and 30s). And she said it got weird, fast. Haha.
No worries, guys, we’re going to keep it PG over. I’m talking about my personal “Never Have I Evers,” beauty edition. It sort of blows my mind, the stuff I’ve never tried, especially since I love beauty/skincare/makeup, etc.
Never have I ever…gotten a massage.
That’s correct! I might be crazy, but it doesn’t sound all that appealing to me. If my shoulders/neck are sore, Chris will give me a back rub and while that does help, I’ve never felt the need to get a professional massage! Chris on the other hand loves massages. For years, he was spoiled, because his office hired masseuses to provide massages (clothed, sitting in a chair) to employees on Fridays!
Never have I ever…gotten a facial.
I mean, I’ve gotten like a 5 minute mini facial from a van parked in Millennium Park (not nearly as creepy as it sounds). I actually think I would like a real, 30-60 minute facial though…my pores are super congested in the summer. It’s on my list!
Never have I ever…gotten a body wax.
I’ve had my eyebrows and upper lip waxed, but never anywhere on the rest of my body. I’ve used at-home wax strips before, but I just stick to shaving/tweezing for the most part. I also have an at-home laser hair removal tool that helps. I’d love to try sugaring…it’s supposed to be better than waxing because it sticks to just hairs and not your skin.
And….only very recently did I get my first EVER pedicure (at a salon). And changed my hair color for the first time!
What about you? Do you have any beauty “never have I evers?” Never gotten a blow out? Never worn eyeshadow?” Or have you tried any new beauty treatments lately?
