Hi Friends! I’m back!!
Wow, jetlag is real – especially when there’s a 15 hour time difference – it’s currently past 3am as I type this, and I’m wide awake.
Australia was so much fun! In so many ways, it’s similar to the US, but it’s also so different. For example, driving/walking on the left side of the road. At one point, Chris and I were sharing an Uber with our friends Kara and Allan, and when Allan got in the front seat, we were like…um, why is he driving the Uber?? (He got in the front left seat, which is the passenger seat, haha).
I can’t wait to give you guys some more recaps! This week is super crazy as I head back to work, and also try to catch up on all my homework. As the end of the semester is nearing, all my projects and papers are starting to pile up. Yikes, maybe it’s good that I’m jetlagged?
Today, I wanted to share with you guys this amazing pink and blue striped jumpsuit. It might be my most complimented outfit in years! The fabric is thick (not see through at all) but it didn’t feel hot despite the fact that it was in the high 70s, low 80s in Brisbane when I wore it.
It’s pretty easy to take off for the restroom (which is simply referred to as “toilet” in Australia – we got some puzzled looks at a restaurant when we asked for the bathroom), at least for a jumpsuit anyways. The thicker straps also allow you to wear a regular bra. I paired this jumpsuit with a cream colored faux leather jacket at night when it dropped into the 60s.
Also, this pink and blue striped jumpsuit is both casual and dressy at the same time, wouldn’t you agree? AND it’s only $40! Can you believe that? (Edit: It looks like this jumpsuit might be sold out for now – check back to see if it restocks, and in the meantime, check out these pretty jumpsuits here, here, and here).
Have a great Monday guys! Talk soon!
