Happy Friday Y’all!
Tomorrow is a jam-packed day! Like I said earlier, I’m heading to my friend Maya’s bridal shower tomorrow…as well as a Windy City Blogger brunch. (The shower is in the late afternoon). Maya and I met living in the same dorm freshmen year of college and have been friends ever since. I’m so excited for Maya’s wedding in Arizona – I’m a bridesmaid and I get to wear a saree!
Today, I wanted to share another winter to spring transitional outfit. I’m wearing this wrap top – stripes with a pop of red, white jeans, and red flats.
The best thing about this outfit is that I’m fully covered as if it’s winter, but the bold floral print and white jeans make it feel more spring-like. (I don’t follow the “only wearing white between Memorial and Labor Day” rule suggestion nonsense. Also there’s something about red that makes me feel warmer too, haha.
I really like how this top is structured. There are two buttons at the waist to secure the wrap – therefore, the ties on the left side are there mostly to look cute. These buttons are awesome because I’ve definitely had a wrap dress come undone during the day. Also, there’s yet another button over the chest to keep the fabric there secure. No risk of flashing.
I’m also a huge fan of these white jeans. They come in both a regular and distressed version, and aren’t see through at all. I worn them to death last spring, summer, and even fall, and I plan to do the same this year!
Have a great weekend guys!
