Hi Friends! Happy Friday! What are you up to this weekend? I’m excited to celebrate Chris’s first Father’s Day. When asked what he wants to do, he said “Not go anywhere and sleep.” :\ I guess that shouldn’t be too hard to accomplish…?
This time next week it’ll officially be summer! I really don’t know where spring went, not that spring is very reliable in Chicago. While we’ve had some nice days, the weather has been kind of finicky. Anyways, guess I spent most of it indoors with a new baby, haha.
Even though I’ve never listened to this “rule” about only wearing white after Memorial Day, I haven’t had much of a chance to…again, new baby! White shows dirt fast! (Although it does hides spit up stains better than darker colors….) #momlife
Anyways, a lot of my “nicer” white items are sitting in my closet, but this white outfit featuring a simple basic t-shirt and white jeans totally still works. (My t-shirt is actually a very pale heather gray that looks almost white). It’s very casual, machine washable, and can be dressed up or down.
I’ve paired it with a pair of pale gray machine washable flats here. And my porcelain rose bag – I love love love this shade of blush/nude…it goes with so much, but especially white and gray.
Chris actually got me me this t-shirt…he was getting some for himself, and ordered one for me too. Despite where he got it from, it’s very well made and I like it better than my Everlane t-shirts. The brand is also available at a bunch of other places, like Amazon.
This t-shirt comes in a million different colors too…I’m ordering a bunch more. Like I said earlier, it’s been harder to wear dresses unless they button in the front while I’m nursing. So it’s a lot more tops + pants/shorts/skirts for me this summer!
