Hi Friends, Happy Hump Day!
Like I said earlier, for my recent purchases, I’ve been trying to consider the fact that fall is on the horizon (gulp). So that everything I buy also work for chillier temps. Enter…the comfiest striped pants! (here)
As you guys can probably tell, I live in dresses in the summer, and leggings in the winter…I just don’t find pants to be all that comfortable! In fact, I’m wearing white jeans right this second (Do you follow the “wear white before Labor Day” rule? I don’t) and I realllllyy I want to undo the top bottom so I can sit more comfortably, haha.) By the way, speaking of RIGHT NOW, I’m currently listing to Carly Rae Jepsen on Spotify…which always reminds me of Chris, much to his dismay. It’s every guy’s dream right? To have his wife/gf tell him that Carly Rae Jepsen makes her think of him?? BUT it’s only because when we first met, Call Me Maybe was having its moment, and was ALWAYS on!
Anyways, back to the topic, my comfiest striped pants. They have a stretchy elastic waist band, and are so easy to throw on. I’ve worn them to work and out with friends already. I love how they can be dressed down (with a tee and flats), or dressed up with a button down shirt and heels. I think they’d be cute with a sweater, denim jacket, and booties this fall! You can also wear these pants high-waisted, like I am here, or at your actual waist-line.
I’m sometimes wary of wide leg pants because I’m on the shorter side (5’4″) and they can make me look dumpy. But these vertical stripes help to elongate your legs. I also love the length of these pants – they’ll work for both shorter and taller gals.
