Happy Hump Day! How’s everyone doing on their holiday shopping? Are you super organized and completely done already? I’m not! If you need some help, check out today’s under $50 Holiday Gift Guide for Girlfriends.
Beauty – During the holidays, there are SO many great beauty gift sets. Can you believe this Clinique set has 20 lipsticks for $42? I also like giving makeup brush sets as gifts…everyone needs them, but you don’t need to worry about which colors, shades they prefer, and whether their skin is dry or combination. Or how about this makeup mirror?
Books – The holidays are a great time to catch up on some fun reading. Chrissy Teigen’s 2nd cookbook is out if you friend loves cooking. Is your friend obsessed with Fixer Upper? How about Joanna Gaines’ book? This Crazy Rich Asians series box set is also affordable and a fun gift.
Candles – Always a good choice…I love Nest Candles. They have some great holiday scents that also aren’t too holiday-y. Does that make sense? Like maybe you want a light holiday scent that isn’t just in your face cinnamon or pine. Also, these candles are super pretty.
Fashion – Fashion can be hard if you don’t get the sizing correctly, but no worries! This plaid cape is one size fits all. I also love the colors in this scarf and this cute faux fur stole. Also, check out my post on making a regular outfit more holiday appropriate, here. Handbags are also a great choice because fit doesn’t matter from person to person. And in my opinion, you can never have too many bags! (Chris disagrees with me and says I only need 1 small bag and 1 large bag, hahaha). This faux leather tote comes with a matching pouch, and this one is great for travel.
Drinkware – Cute wine glasses, mugs, or water bottles! It’s important to hydrate during the holidays…water, coffee, and champagne, right? LOL. I like this water bottle with a wide opening…it’s harder to tip over, and you can actually get inside to give it a good cleaning.
Hair – I’ve been using this clamp-less curling wand recently, and find it so much easier to use than traditional curling irons. I wear a heat-protection glove, and use my fingers to wrap my hair around the barrel of the curling iron. Easy-peasy! (And this curling wand is now on sale for under $50). Another great gift idea…this WIFI enabled outlet plug! How many times have you left your house and then wondered if you unplugged your styling tools and then either rushed home, or wondered all day if you burned your house down? Now you control it from your home from anywhere!
Jewelry – I love these CZ stud earrings that look very realistic – I get compliments on mine all the time. I also have the 14kt gold version of this circle ring…this one is gold vermeil and more affordable
Other Ideas – What about a cozy blanket? Or a cute picture frame? I also like receiving planners/agendas during the holidays, just in time for the new year.
What are you gifting your girlfriends this season?
