Happy Monday! (By the way, I actually accidentally typed Happy Friday instead of Monday…wayyyy too wishful thinking).
Let’s see…some weekend updates. On Friday, I went to a grand reopening event for Trunk Club in River North. I got this denim jacket monogrammed and made my own perfume of mostly gardenia notes (my favorite floral scent)! Can you believe I didn’t own a denim jacket?? I’m glad I finally have one.
On Saturday, Chris and I went to a baby celebration/potluck/housewarming (not exactly a shower) for friends. I wore this vintage floral print dress (here) with leggings and riding boots since it was chilly.
I’m trying to avoid maternity clothes for as long as possible – I’d rather buy clothes that I can re-wear for seasons to come. This dress has an adjustable fit – you can tie the back as tight as you want. (I went for a loose bow in the back).
Also, I’m also wearing non-maternity stretchy black leggings that are supposed to accomodate up to a 9 month baby bump…we’ll see about that!
Side note: Did you hear this morning that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are having a baby?
This vintage floral print also comes in a different cut dress, a scarf, a skirt, a blouse, and more. Check out more below!
