Hi Guys! Happy Hump Day!

Yesterday was 80 degrees!!! Ahh it was amazing. It’s going to drop back down to the 50s again before it stays warm (probably June) so I had to take step away from my Australia content (see here) for a minute to break out this little yellow eyelet romper. One thing I’ve noticed about clothing with eyelet (is that how you say it? Or eyelet clothing??) is that it hides wrinkles pretty well. This is great for busy days and for traveling.

I brought my trusty little garment steamer with me to Australia, but blew it out (is that the right terminology for that?) I’m at a loss for words today. I had a converter that worked for my phone and laptop, but apparently I needed a plug ADAPTER for stuff like a hair dryer, curling/flat iron, or garment steamer. Oops. Anyways, you bet I reordered it again. But anyhow, I had a few wrinkly clothes situations over there.

This yellow eyelet romper is super cute – I love the palm and floral print too. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on it! I will say though, it is pretty short. But you can also wear it as a swimsuit cover up.

I have to say, I got so distracted by the warm weather, we left to shoot this outfit, got to our location, and then realized that my memory card was not in my camera. After going back home to get my memory card, we left again for a closer location, and then I realized I forgot my sunglasses. The reason I often wear sunglasses for blog photos is 1) Because it’s easier to get a better pool of shots to choose from – there’s often so many blinking ones, or where I’m looking off in the wrong direction. 2) So I don’t have to put on more makeup! I don’t wear a ton of makeup to my day job, and it’s easier to not have to reapply in the evenings for shoots. Haha.

Anyhow, I went back home to get my sunglasses, met Chris again and then realized I didn’t have my sunglasses. I did get them, but I put them down to put on my shoes. So by then, I was like, forget the sunglasses – but it had started getting dark, so we could only take a few shots. FAILLLLLL. Does stuff like that happen to you, haha?
