Happy Friday! Do you have work today
I’m working from home, not because it’s Good Friday, but because my office closed for renovations, and we’re moving to a different floor on Monday. If you celebrate Easter, what are your plans? Chris and I are going to the new-ish Beatrix location in Fulton Market for brunch.
Also, tomorrow, I’m getting balayage done on my hair at Salon DJ. I’m so excited – I’ve NEVER colored my hair! Actually, I’ve never done anything to it besides get it cut. EEK! I can’t wait to show you guys…check out my Instastories this weekend!
Today, I wanted to share with you guys this bright and colorful cold shoulder dress (here). Aren’t the colors so pretty? There’s an elastic waistband that gives this dress some shape – which is so much more comfortable than dresses that have a non-stretchy tie around the waistline that can dig into your stomach.
The cold shoulder is more minimal than some of the cold shoulder tops and dresses that expose your upper arm and entire shoulder. It’s really just a simple slit, making this dress more conservative for the office. It looks great paired with a blazer! I wish I had mine with me for this shoot so I could show y’all! I also wore this earlier with my cream colored faux leather jacket and boots. There are so many ways to wear this dress!
Check out some more cold shoulder dresses below, and some of my recent cold shoulder looks here and here, as well as a few other bright and colorful dresses here, here, here, and here.
