Hi Friends! Happy Friday!
It’s kind of strange to be posting about fall when it’s been 90 degrees or close to it most of this week! I actually didn’t go outside for almost 2 days because the weather has been too hot for baby Reid.
BUT it seems like the super hot days are now behind us! Weather gods, please let us have a few weeks of nice fall days before it starts snowing. I feel like that happens a lot in Chicago – 90s one week, 30 the next.
Anyways, I wanted to share this fall athleisure travel outfit that I put together after receiving a few items from the brand, Thrive Societe.
A few days ago, Chris and I booked our flights to two weddings in October. It’ll be our first time traveling with Reid…and of course the longest flight to California is first, haha. In the past, when flying, I’ve put together comfy outfits, but they still consisted of my daily, normal, clothes (see here and here for travel outfits). Not anymore. With a drooly baby (seriously, he soaks through a teething bib in 10 minutes), I’m going for performance fabrics. Bye bye cashmere.
On the menu – this top and hoodie from Thrive Societe, my Align leggings, sneakers, and a hat. Because SOMEONE likes to pull my hair, on top of drooling on me, haha. (By the way, I wore Align leggings in my regular size my entire pregnancy – they’re that stretchy!)
Side note: This outfit also makes me feel like I have a good workout routine going on despite the fact that I have not worked out since…uh…prenatal yoga. Oops.
Have a great weekend guys!
