Happy Monday! Chris was at a weekend corporate retreat (at his boss’s farm close to St. Louis) all weekend, so I was on my own. Chris is almost never away, so I used this time to take a bath using this bath bomb I’ve had forever (I never take baths!), catch up on girly TV, and reorganize all my beauty products.
I also went to Millennium Park to check out an event by HydraFacial and ColorScience. I picked up some products there (as well as a mini-facial) so I can’t wait to try them out and let you guys know.
Today, I wanted to give you guys a little recap of our trip from Memorial Day weekend. We headed to Phoenix/Scottsdale, AZ for my friend Maya’s wedding (more on her wedding later! I’m waiting for pictures!)
Royal Palms Resort and Spa
Maya got married at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, which is STUNNING! The resort used to be a private residence back in the 1920s. Having never been to Arizona, it is exactly what I pictured – from the Spanish Colonial architecture to the cacti and desert blooms! It made the perfect backdrop for the outfit shoot for this sage and coral romper midi dress (here).
Sage and Coral Romper Midi Dress
Yes, this is BOTH a romper and a midi dress! I love how it’s both casual and more formal at the same time! The material is light and flowy, and kept me cool in the 100 degree weather, but at night, when we went sat outside at Olive & Ivy, a Mediterranean restaurant in Old Town Scottsdale, I was able to lay the skirt over my lap to keep warm.
Chris and I arrived on Friday before Memorial Day, prior to our friends, so we stayed one night at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa (thank you to the resort for hosting us!) Check out my Instagram story highlights to see our room, more of the property, and what we did while we were there! I’d definitely recommend staying – the staff was incredible and the restaurants are really good too! We ate twice at their pool side cabana.
I got so many compliments on this romper midi dress! From both girls and guys! This pale green sage color is very flattering on most skin tones, and the pops of coral flowers makes it both elegant and girly/flirty.
Here, I’m wearing this sage and coral romper midi dress with my favorite low wedge sandals. You could also pair these with flat sandals, espadrilles, or strappy heels, depending on the occasion.
Aaaannnnd….this sage and coral romper midi dress is only $49!

Have a great day!
