Hi Friends! Why is it SO COLD today? This morning was 18 degrees…is it usually that cold in November?? What have you been wearing? If you need inspiration, I wrote about my freezing cold weather uniform last winter here, and I’ll be doing a review on Canada Goose coats soon!
Today, I wanted to share an under $20 non-maternity top for pregnant and non-pregnant gals alike. I’ll be 22 weeks along this Friday, but I’ve held off on maternity clothes thus far! I’m just rocking regular leggings that stretch like crazy, or jeans with a belly band. And regular tops and sweaters that are a bit looser. I’m hoping I can stick to regular clothes for as long as possible – I don’t want to spend money on maternity clothing that I might not wear again! (We’d like to have another baby, but who knows what time of year it’ll be?) Anyone with me?
This adjustable, empire-waist, non-maternity top is made of a thin-sweater material, and has a peplum hem. If you’re not pregnant, you can tighten the strings around the waist, and if you are, you can loosen them. I’ve gotten different opinions from different people about how this top either hides or accentuates my baby bump in their opinion!
Also this top is currently 60% off, so it’s on sale for under $20!!!! AND it’s still available in 8 different colors in both regular and petite sizes. (I’m wearing the regular in XS). Even if you’re recently pregnant (and aren’t showing), this is a great time to stock up…you can wear this top until March or so. And if you live in the Midwest, probably until May (eye roll). Or if you’re not pregnant/not planning to be pregnant, and just want a top that’ll allow you to indulge in some extra desserts this holiday season, this is it! Haha. (There’s a red one and burgundy one, if you’re looking for more holiday colors).
Pregnant friends, when did you switch to maternity clothes? What season was it when you were pregnant? How did you make your non-maternity clothes work for longer?
