Hi Everyone! Happy Valentine’s Day! I have a busy day ahead of me at the office (I was hoping to WFH today, but something came up). This will be me tonight, but I’m going with my girlfriends to dinner on Friday, and then with Chris to dinner this weekend. (It’s a 3 day weekend, yay!)
This year has been the year of travel for me. We just went to France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands (technically this trip was partially in December, partially in January). Later in January, I went to New Orleans for a bachelorette party. In April, we’re going to Brisbane, Hamilton Island, and Sydney, Australia. In May, we’re going to Arizona for a wedding. My sister is studying abroad in Italy, so if I can manage it, I’ll head back to Europe to visit her before the end of June. I also need to go to Cambridge, MA for class at least once. Whew! And those are just my plans for the first half of 2018.
Late last year, Jon Hart Design reached out to me about their newest color, Rose. Jon Hart Design is a San Antonio based company that specializes in monogrammed and personalized gifts such as canvas and leather bags, as well as luggage. Everything is customizable and handmade in the USA. How cool is that?
I thought this would be perfect to share with you guys for Valentine’s Day! This color is also so pretty for spring!
I love how this suitcase and duffel bag are made of vinyl coated canvas, which is durable and easy to wipe clean. I try my very best to carry my luggage on board with me, but I’m still often forced to check my bag at the gate and wait for it at baggage claim, where it’s hard to spot, and shows up dirty. Has anyone ever grabbed the wrong bag? Fortunately, I have not, but last year, my bag was lost TWICE after getting it checked at the gate! Eventually it was found both times, but each time the agents had me give a description of my bag (which looked like most bags). At least when this inevitably happens in the future, I can say it’s pink! And it says “Tia Perciballi” on it! I don’t own a ton of monogrammed items, but I think they’re PERFECT for travel. Whether this is true or not, I’m convinced it makes your bags more difficult to lose/steal, haha.
This duffel bag has a sleeve that you plop over your suitcase handle to secure it – this way, you can balance your bag on top of your suitcase while wheeling it around so your bag doesn’t fall over!
How pretty is this leather luggage tag?
I selected the silver foil monogram with my full name, but you have the option to monogram your initials instead, or even a generic symbol or shape, like this shamrock pictured below.
If you guys have been following my Beauty Finds posts, you know I’ve been trying a lot of new products lately. This makeup case has been great for storing my bottles of cleansers, toners, serums, primers, etc. Although if you ask Chris, my side of the bathroom counter is still pretty cluttered, and I’ve been sneakily (not sneakily enough) moving my things over to his side 😉
While you may not purchase luggage for a friend, plenty of Jon Hart items make great gifts – check out some under $50 options here!
Hope you guys have a great day!
Do you own any monogrammed items? Do you have any airline horror stories?
I received these items c/o Jon Hart Design, but this post is not sponsored, and all opinions are mine.
